Haweswater Hotel - Lake District
Built in 1937 and located in the Lake District, the 15 bedroom Haweswater Hotel is the only building in the Haweswater nature reserve – a stunning 100 square mile haven for wildlife and home to England’s only Golden Eagle.

The Challenge
Due to multiple factors – including being located in a valley, near water and surrounded by forestry – with no masts near the hotel, it suffered from zero mobile signal.
The Solution
Following a detailed survey and consultation period with hotel management Boost Pro designed a passive DAS system to help improve the phone signal in all rooms, reception and dining areas.
Due to the signal being so poor externally, Boost Pro engineers installed high gain LDPA antennas on the roof to help maximise what little signal there was outside.
