The Challenge
Being close to the mobile mast meant that the office a good mobile phone signal from the roof down to the ground floor. However, as the ground floor is low and covered by surrounding buildings, Brodies had zero signal on their corporate EE network. With the conference and meeting rooms located on the bottom floor, it was essential for staff to get signal in these areas for vital communication with clients, and colleagues from other offices. With no mobile coverage, health and safety within this part of the office was also a concern.
The Solution
Following a detailed survey and consultation period, the Boost Pro technical team designed a passive DAS solution suitable for the meeting rooms.
With no operator license required, the installation was completed in a matter of days – this smart cellular solution delivers the industry’s highest gain, at the lowest cost per square metre.
