Mobile Connectivity Improvement Project
Burncastle Lodge, Duke and Duchess of Northumberland
Redeveloped in 2013 and spanning 20,000 square feet, Burncastle Lodge is a private 20 room lodge located in the Scottish Borders. Due to the remote location which spans a very large plot (well way from the closest mobile towers), as well the design of the building and construction materials used, the property suffered from very poor mobile signal. These factors were taken into consideration for what was a truly bespoke installation.
The Solution
Following an extensive survey and consultation period, Boost Po designed a passive DAS system to improve the O2, EE, Vodafone and Three signal throughout the full house.
Due to the remote location which was causing a very weak external signal, high gain LDPA antennas were used to maximise the signal gain.
As a result, there is now a strong consistent signal throughout the house allowing family members and guests the ability to make calls.
